Young women between the ages of 13-28* must first register with the Miss America organization to participate in Michigan’s local title competitions and the Miss Michigan Scholarship program. The national registration for the Miss and Teen annual competition cycle is $39.99. This one-year membership entitles you to compete in any local title program. Age and additional eligibility requirements may vary with each local competition along with additional fees.
Once you are registered with the national organization, then register for our local Michigan title program(s). Please reach out to each individual director for more information about their specific program(s).
On June 17, Maya Schuhknecht was crowned Miss Michigan 2023. She fascinated the audience with her speed painting talent, and communicated her passion for highlighting the arts in Michigan with her community service initiative of "Arts for All". She exhibited confidence throughout the evening and showed pose in her gleaming emerald green gown.
Maya competed as Miss Spirit of the state against 22 other beautiful ladies representing various local competitions. She will now compete in the Miss America competition.
On June 16, Kylie D'Andrea was crowned Miss Michigan’s Teen 2023. For her talent she performed a Jazz dance routine to Prince's “Baby I'm a Star”. For the evening gown portion of the competition, Kylie wore a sparkly blue gown with a sheer blue train extending from the waistline. She showed pose and grace throughout the evening and delighted the audience with her talent.
Kylie D'Andrea competed as Miss Sunrise Side's Outstanding Teen against 15 other young ladies representing various local programs during tonight's competition.
As Miss Michigan’s Teen, Kylie will promote her community service initiative, "Hope for the Homeless" around the state. We hope you get an opportunity to meet Kylie and discover what a beautiful, kind young lady she is.
